A perfect day waking up
to the need of a hooded sweatshirt
as the sun rises on slow St. Joe.
But summer sun wins as clouds thin
and we wait for the fun to unfold.
Meet with friends for burgers and beers
at a delicious blink named Calder.
As we set the sun no moose at bay
but sit cozy at a private fireside
and initiate marshmallow foreplay.
or something like that...
Just a nice slow day in St. Marie's. Donna and I do a little second handing and courthouse hopping before a splendid nap and waking to Donna riding her Honda 90 around the yard.
Steve drives us to Calder for burgers and a slow drive back looking for absent moose.
A fire pit full of marshmallow fun as the sun sets (great pics) and giggles crackle around the fire pit before we turn in.
